Chris Knestrick

Chris Knestrick is the Director of Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless.  He has over 10 years of experience working with the homelessness in Cleveland and directing advocacy efforts in the international and local community. Chris has been committed to organizing work, undoing oppressions, and nonviolence that centers the voices most impacted by public policy. His work has taken him from the streets of Cleveland to the mountains of Colombia, South America.  He is a graduate of McCormick Theological Seminary. He likes to spend his days boating, fishing and thinking about how to get the community to love so fiercely that homelessness is unimaginable. 


Latanya “Toni” Burton-Mickey

Toni started working at NEOCH on March 6, 2018.  She is currently the Advocacy Coordinator.She received Associates Arts and Associated Sciences degrees from Cuyahoga Community College 2006.  Toni earned a Bachelor of Arts in Healthcare Administration and an MBA Healthcare Management from Ursuline College in 2012 and 2016, respectively.  She is the Coordinator of the Street Chronicle newspaper and the Facilitator for the Homeless Congress. In her free time, she works at the ministry at Saint Teresa Holiness Science Church. . On a monthly basis she served over 100 people.  This ministry is exactly what brought her to NEOCH.


Denise Moore

Denise has been serving doing outreach to the homeless on the streets of Cleveland for 12 years. She founded the Restored Paths Ministry in 2007 and has been serving hot meals every Saturday to those who call the streets home.

She has developed relationships with homeless individuals with the hope of helping them find acceptance and friendship and offering them vital services to help them re-program their lives and get back on their feet again with the ultimate goal of being housed.

Denise has worked in NEOCH offices since May of 2015 coordinating the Outreach Programs for NEOCH. She collaborates with Outreach Leaders and Workers from different agencies by overseeing, planning and implementing outreach strategies to best serve and educate those who bring resources to our homeless friends through outreach.


As a teenager and young adult Brian assisted his mother, a pastor, in her church’s hunger ministry that awakened a passion for poverty issues.  A descendant of two generations of Cleveland natives, Brian Mallory moved to Cleveland in the ‘80s to attend Cleveland State. Since college, Brian has worked for various advocate organizations as a field organizer and canvasser. Most recently, he worked in homeless outreach with First Stop, Inc. of Huntsville, AL. He began as a Volunteer at NEOCH in 2018 coming onto the staff in 2019. 



Hazel Williams

Hazel started as a volunteer at NEOCH in November 2017 doing administrative work and later became the Donation Coordinator. She was hired as the Training & Development Coordinator, November 2018 through AmeriCorps ViISTA. Hazel has an extensive background as an Accountant, Executive Assistant, Entrepreneur and Event Planner, as well as a veteran of the US Marine Corps.  She is an avid reader and loves to crochet, knit, and sew. Hazel is the mother of two and Ya-Ya (grandmother) of three.
