Housing Justice Community Organizer:

The Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless (NEOCH) is seeking applicants for its full-time Housing Justice Community Organizer position. NEOCH is seeking a dynamic, passionate, and skilled organizer with experience in community organizing or social justice movement work, either professional or volunteer.

This role seeks to advance NEOCH’s organizing portfolio and advance the organization’s goal of mobilizing a grassroots constituency to share ideas and build power to ignite public support, political will, and initiatives to eliminate the root causes of homelessness and housing insecurity. In coordination with the Organizing and Advocacy Director, this role will work directly with residents to organize, educate, and build power to redress our country’s racist housing legacy and ensure that folks that are directly impacted are centered in this work towards housing justice. 


Street Outreach Director:

The Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless (NEOCH) is seeking applicants for its full-time Street Outreach Director position. The Street Outreach Director will oversee the daily operations of NEOCH street outreach program. They will supervise and evaluate all street outreach staff as well as developing and implementing program goals as expected from funding sources and organizational plans.  

The Street Outreach Director will lead and coordinate outreach efforts aimed at assisting unsheltered individuals and connecting them with vital resources and services. They are responsible for overseeing outreach teams, developing outreach strategies, and fostering partnerships with community organizations to address the needs of unhoused people.  


LGBTQ Youth Navigator:

The Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless (NEOCH) is seeking applicants for its fulltime LGBTQ Youth Navigator. NEOCH is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission to eliminate the root causes of homelessness while loving our diverse community through organizing, advocacy, education, and street outreach.

LGBTQ Youth Navigator will work with young adults experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. They will connect with the youth/young adult to eliminate barriers to housing, provide linkage to supportive services, and offer support to the individual to meet their immediate needs. Moreover, the Navigator will provide services through person centered accompaniment and relational outreach that centers the individual to chart a pathway out of shelter and into safe permanent housing.
